Casavo has announced the layoffs of 90 employees from their company which means around 30% of the workforce from the overall headcount.
A “difficult choice” for the founder and CEO of the proptech startup Giorgio Tinacci, who however says he is convinced that it is the “right one to make given the market uncertainty and Casavo’s long-term interest”. real estate platform has about 300 employees.
The cut was made necessary to meet the need to reduce costs and accelerate the road toward a balanced budget. “We have always acted transparently, fairly, and with respect towards our people and we will continue to do so in this context as well. We will take care of those who will be impacted by this decision thanks to a series of initiatives aimed at guaranteeing relocation”, commented Tinacci.
